Welcome to apply for a job with us! About the Job We are seeking up to 10-12 people for development work in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Your work tasks will consist of programming prototypes for various research experiments involving AI. About You To be employed as a research assistant, you must be admitted to higher education at the basic or advanced level. For this position, we are seeking people admitted to technical education and the cognitive science program at the basic or advanced level at Linköping University. We want you to have: Knowledge of programming Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Good knowledge of object-oriented programming, especially Python Basic knowledge of database technology, SQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent Good knowledge of computer communication, MQTT, ZeroMQ, HTTP/REST It is meritorious if you have: Previous experience participating in programming projects within AI/IoT, especially in the transportation sector or process industry. Your Workplace The Department of Computer Science (IDA) was founded in 1983, but our roots go back to the early 1970s. It is one of the largest computer science departments in northern Europe. Our research covers a broad spectrum of areas, from fundamental computer science to applied fields. Our extensive research also influences our undergraduate and graduate education, leading us to offer courses in several civil and engineering programs, as well as programs in innovative programming, cognitive science, and statistics.
