About the Job We are seeking approximately 3-4 teaching assistants who, as needed and by agreement, will assist course instructors in the department's courses during the academic year. Work tasks may include teaching lectures, laboratory instruction, grading reports, and maintenance of technical equipment. Tasks may also include simple administrative duties in research projects. About You To be employed as a teaching assistant, you must be admitted to higher education at the bachelor's or master's level. It is meritorious if you study at Linköping University at the master's level and can demonstrate documented good knowledge in the courses you are expected to assist with. Furthermore, it is particularly meritorious if you have previous teaching experience and are available for assignments throughout the academic year 2026/2027. The teaching assistant position is directly linked to the fundamental courses for which the department is responsible. Work tasks are varied and may arise with short notice, which requires flexibility and your availability at the university. You should also be responsible, thorough, service-oriented, possess pedagogical skills, and be interested in the subject area. Your Workplace The Division of Fluid and Mechatronic Systems is located at IEI and belongs to the School of Science and Engineering. The division has undergraduate teaching responsibilities that include instruction in the Master's Program in Mechanical Engineering (300 credits) as well as the master's programs Mechanical Engineering (120 credits) and Aeronautical Engineering (120 credits). About the Employment Scope and start date by agreement. Employment as a teaching assistant is governed by Chapter 5 of the Swedish Higher Education Ordinance.
