About Us At the School of Music at Örebro University, artistic and scientific perspectives meet knowledge and learning in an environment where different aesthetic expressions interact. We offer artistic education in musical performance, theater pedagogy programs, music teacher education as part of the subject teacher program, as well as bachelor's programs, master's programs, and doctoral education in musicology. We also conduct internationally successful research in musicology, including music pedagogical and didactic research, and work with research development in musical performance. Marketing and communication are crucial components in making the School of Music's activities visible. We are now looking for an engaged student who can take responsibility for communication on social media. Job Responsibilities Your work as a student assistant involves administering and managing communication on the School of Music's social media, primarily Instagram. The job responsibilities also include collaborating with administration, students, and teaching staff regarding what content is published and how it is communicated. Qualifications To be eligible for employment as a student assistant, you must be admitted to an education program at basic or advanced level at the School of Music. Your studies should be within one of the subject areas of musical performance, music pedagogy, or musicology. We are looking for someone who has an interest in education and student matters. You should have good communication skills and experience creating and publishing content for social media. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You should be able to work independently, have good collaboration skills, be service-oriented, and have the ability to prioritize among tasks. Information The position is 10% until 2027-06-13 with start date by agreement. Salary is in accordance with the local collective agreement. Student assistants may be employed for one year at a time, with the total employment period for a student assistant not exceeding three years.
