Read more on the university website about Working with Us Duties As a research assistant, your tasks may vary, but you must be studying at the faculty where the work is conducted, and the tasks should provide insight into the academic world. As a research assistant with the assignment of student ambassador, you will be employed by the Education Service Department at the Faculty of Law, and you will carry out the following tasks among others: Responsible for shadowing prospective students Responsible for study visits from upper secondary schools Arrange staffing for education fairs, inspiration days, and open house events Convene one meeting per semester for all student ambassadors at the faculty Responsible for disseminating current information to the faculty's other student ambassadors Email contact and Zoom meetings with prospective students in the law program Other tasks related to student recruitment for the law program Qualifications According to Chapter 5, Section 10 of the Higher Education Ordinance, only those admitted to education at bachelor's or master's level may be employed as a research assistant. Eligible for employment as a research assistant is someone who actively pursues studies at bachelor's or master's level at the relevant faculty and has not yet completed their degree. Additional requirements for employment are that you: Are enrolled in the law program and have completed at least semester 2 with passing grades for full courses from both semester 1 and 2 Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious for the position: Have previously been employed as a student ambassador at the Faculty of Law or as a central student ambassador at Lund University Have previous experience working at education fairs Have previous experience in service work Have previous experience organizing and conducting study visits Have previous experience organizing and conducting shadowing sessions Terms The employment is time-limited, begins October 1st or by agreement, and ends January 17, 2027, with the possibility of extension. The position is 10% of full-time and may involve work on certain weekends. The employment must not negatively impact the research assistant's studies and should not be combined with other employment. Regulations regarding educational employment as a research assistant are found in the Higher Education Ordinance (SFS 2017:284), Chapter 5, Sections 8-12.
