The work involves classroom instruction, lab supervision, and grading in the course TAMS24 Statistical Theory, Basic Course. Your Qualifications To be employed as a teaching assistant, you must be admitted to higher education at the basic or advanced level. For this position, good grades in mathematics courses in general and in the relevant course, or an equivalent course, in particular are required. Experience with your own well-functioning teaching is a merit. It is a merit if you are a student at LiU. Your Workplace You will work at the Division of Applied Mathematics (TIMA). The division conducts research in computational mathematics, mathematical statistics, and optimization. Employment as a teaching assistant can never be more than 50 percent of a full-time position. The extent of the work is 31 percent during October and November 2026. Start date at course commencement.
