The Department of Business Administration, Stockholm Business School (SBS), is one of the largest departments at Stockholm University with approximately 150 employees and approximately 3,500 students per academic year. Finance is the area of business administration that focuses on studies of all aspects of financing, with particular emphasis on risk management and derivatives, microstructure of financial markets, and corporate governance. Job Responsibilities The role of teaching assistant serves as a link between students and courses/instructors, course coordinators, and study administration. The teaching assistant should be highly available to students. The focus of the work should be on supporting students and course-responsible instructors within FEK-I and FEK-II. The work includes answering subject-related questions from students about course content in order to facilitate and support students' learning process, as well as assisting course and program coordinators with administrative questions regarding the implementation of courses. Qualifications The applicant must be admitted to a program at the undergraduate or graduate level. Good knowledge in finance corresponding to the course Finance I is necessary. The evaluation criteria applied in the selection are the applicant's own academic performance, engagement, and pedagogical ability. Experience as a teaching assistant or course assistant with a focus on finance is meritorious. About the Employment The employment comprises 15% of full-time and is time-limited for a period of four months. Start date is by agreement.
