About the job We are seeking teaching assistants in anatomy for instruction and/or supervision of practical exercises in the early semesters of the medical faculty's undergraduate programs in Linköping. Work tasks may also occur outside of term time and may include, for example, administrative tasks, participation in examinations, and other work tasks as agreed. The work tasks include supporting students' learning during practical exercises within the above-mentioned areas of the medical faculty's undergraduate programs. Preparation work and follow-up work are included in the work tasks. You will work in close collaboration with and receive support from the subject responsible or course responsible for the exercises or courses you are involved in. You will also be supported by a unit manager with supervisory responsibilities and two chief teaching assistants who distribute tasks and hold the team of teaching assistants together. About you To be employed as a teaching assistant, you must be admitted to a higher education program at basic or advanced level. We want you to be admitted to studies at the medical faculty; relevant educational background is ongoing medical studies. It is important that the composition of the teaching assistant corps consists of students at different stages of their education. Different experience provides a breadth of perspectives and is developmental for the activity. To maintain this composition, we are primarily seeking students beginning semester 5 for spring 2027. We want you to: have passing grades on completed courses and be on track in your own studies be well familiar with problem-based learning (PBL) masters oral and written communication in Swedish It is an advantage if you have: documented experience in teaching As a person, you are organized and interested in pedagogy. You have the ability to work independently and in teaching teams. You should have a creative approach to problem-solving and demonstrate good collaboration and communication skills. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability. The objective of the activity within BKV is to conduct high-quality medical and biomedical research and education at national and international top level, for the benefit of health and healthcare. The department has approximately 550 employees. This may later during the employment transition to a teaching assistant assignment of 10% or more. The employment is primarily for a maximum of one year, with the possibility of extension.
