ABOUT THE ROLE As a SQL Developer, your main task is to build and further develop data warehouses that form the foundation for customers' decision support in Insight – Insera's BI system. You will work with retrieving data from various sources, connecting it, creating a solid structure, and building logic that makes the data usable in the best possible way. You will work either closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements, or more focused on the technology and data logic behind the scenes – it depends on who you are and what you prefer. As a SQL Developer, you will, for example, work with: • Retrieving, processing, and validating data from different systems. • Building and maintaining data warehouses with clear structure and logic. • Working with SQL, integrations, and APIs. • Designing ETL processes and creating data models that support analysis and reporting. • Collaborating with business consultants, developers, and other team members. • Contributing ideas on how data can be supplemented and improved to create more value for the customer. You will be part of a team of 5 people, where you take significant personal responsibility but also prioritize helping your colleagues when needed. Sometimes you work on multiple assignments simultaneously, sometimes focused on one. Either way, your role is to ensure that data is correct, logical, and usable. WHO ARE YOU We are looking for someone with several years of experience working with data and who enjoys working hands-on with databases. You don't need to be an expert in everything from the start, but you need to have an understanding of data logic, structure, and how to create value with data. You are confident and accustomed to driving your own processes and working independently, but are also a team player who appreciates good collaboration with your colleagues. To thrive in this role, you have: • Very strong SQL skills. • Experience working with large datasets and complex data structures. • Understanding of how to build data models, create keys, and connect data from multiple sources.
