Job responsibilities
As an alcohol and tobacco officer, you will mainly work with licensing and supervision according to alcohol and tobacco legislation. You handle applications and conduct supervision, provide information, advice and guidance, and cooperate with other authorities and partners. The work includes making assessments and drafting decisions. You will present matters for the environment and building committee. Work in the evenings, nights and weekends occurs in connection with supervision. The position may possibly be combined with other tasks in the environment and health protection sector, such as for example food supervision.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with appropriate post-secondary education that the employer deems suitable for the position, which for example could be in economics, law, administration or similar. It is an advantage if you have experience from regulatory authority in municipal or state operations. You have knowledge of economics and have a good understanding of economic accounting, bookkeeping and other documentation, and can apply legislation in practice.
You take great personal responsibility, are well-organized, thorough, and have a good ability to communicate clearly in speech and writing, are service-oriented and solution-focused with professional and adapted conduct. You are confident in your role as a public servant and are a good representative for the employer in relation to businesses, other authorities, the public and others.
As an alcohol and tobacco officer, you can expect a salary of approximately 36,000–45,000 SEK depending on experience and competence; individual salary setting is applied.
We will place great emphasis on personal qualities and suitability in the filling of the position.
A category B driving license is required.
