WORK TASKS We are looking for someone who wants to work with the elderly and contribute to increasing knowledge among staff about elderly people's living conditions, as well as help raise the pedagogical and theoretical competence needed to satisfactorily meet elderly people's needs from a holistic perspective. Common tasks as an elderly pedagogue: • Be a management support • Coach specialist nurses • Activities coordinator. This may include coming up with ideas where you plan and participate in activities for our residents. This applies to both departmental and common activities, both indoors and outdoors including outings, etc. • Leadership role on the facility's Operational Team (OPT) • Be present and visible in the departments • Daily pulse meetings • Multiprofessional teams, senior alert, and quality councils • Investigate and propose measures for deviations and feedback • Development responsibility for care staff representative and responsibility areas • Facilitate resident councils • First point of contact for family contacts • Move-in and move-out processes • Log checks and prepare various materials for analysis and development • Follow up on compliance with routines, social documentation, activity systems, etc. • Educator With us you work full-time on weekdays with flexible working hours based on operational needs. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with leadership qualities and confidence in your professional role, a positive attitude toward development, the ability to work independently, and a sense of responsibility. You must be able to contribute concrete methods and tools to work in a motivating, supportive, and health-promoting manner in daily social work with the elderly. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as the ability to listen and encourage, and flexibility. You have a genuine interest in working with people with a focus on what is healthy. You will be part of an operational team where you will have a leadership role, so we are looking for an inspiring team player for that work group. You should be creative in the sense that you see possibilities rather than obstacles. You also need good structure in your administrative work. Since cooperation and participation are important ingredients, you should be unpretentious and enjoy working together with other departments and support functions. Basic requirements for this position are that you have: • A university degree with approved grades from an elderly pedagogue program or equivalent education, for example social worker, behavioral scientist, or social pedagogue. • B-class driver's license with access to a car • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written • High computer skills It is also an advantage if you have further training in geriatrics or dementia care, and experience working with people with dementia and BPSD is considered an asset. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-09-01. In this recruitment, continuous selection is applied. We provide salary information for the 10th and 90th percentile: 41 215 - 43 790 kr/month. The salary range is stated in accordance with applicable regulations on salary transparency.
