About the Department The Emergency Department at Falun Hospital is tasked with providing specialized healthcare for acutely ill or injured citizens. The emergency operations span seven different medical specialty areas, available 24/7: internal medicine, cardiology, infectious diseases, pediatrics, surgery, orthopedics, and gynecology. As a nursing assistant, you will care for and assess acutely ill patients together with nurses. You will assist with various procedures such as suturing, punctures, blood draws, and more. Qualifications We seek someone with a diploma from a Healthcare and Care program or equivalent relevant education, with prior experience in emergency healthcare and who feels confident in their professional role. We place great importance on personal suitability. It is a merit if you have: Specialist Nursing Assistant certification in Emergency Healthcare Program specialization in Emergency Healthcare and Internal Medicine 2 At least 1-2 years of experience in Emergency Healthcare Previous experience working in an emergency department You appreciate challenges and work with varied tasks and changes in pace You are a confident, self-directed person who takes responsibility for your tasks In patient interactions, you have an empathetic and service-oriented approach You have strong collaboration skills and maintain good relationships with colleagues Interviews are held on an ongoing basis.
