Activity Coordinator for Growing Daily Services

At Bräcke Verksam, we meet people with multiple disabilities who need comprehensive support in their daily lives and who desire meaningful daytime activities. Here, work is about creating security, familiarity, and joyful moments based on how each participant experiences the world. In autumn 2026, we're moving into new, larger facilities with space for more participants. Therefore, we're now looking for additional colleagues to join our work in providing participants with meaningful days. Opportunities are available for both permanent positions and hourly temporary work. Your Role As an activity coordinator at Verksam, you work closely with people with multiple disabilities and comprehensive care and nursing needs. For daily life to be comprehensible, environments, experiences, and activities need to be clear to the participant. As an activity coordinator, your role is to adapt what happens during the day based on the participant's needs and communication style, making the surrounding world accessible and meaningful. During your shift, you are responsible for one participant and work closely with colleagues as needed. You will, among other things: Support participants' communication using AAC Conduct sensory activities, tactile touch, and activities involving outdoor time and bathing Work with individual stretching and training programs Provide support during meals, hygiene, and other care situations Document and contribute to continuity in support for each participant Work hours are daytime, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys care work and wants to contribute to daily services for people with multiple disabilities. The work involves close interaction with both participants and colleagues, so you need to be comfortable in care situations, enjoy collaboration, and be able to document so that support is clear and coherent. In meeting with participants, responsiveness is important, as is the ability to create calm and structure during the day. Qualifications Nursing assistant education or equivalent training Experience in direct care work Experience with tube feeding and assistive device handling Documentation experience Meritorious Knowledge of AAC Experience working with people with epilepsy We warmly welcome your application!
