INITIAL CONTACT BY EMAIL - KATEŘINA CAKLOVÁ, e-mail: [email protected] The purpose of this position is to create and develop intelligent automation systems that shape the future of retail through production deployment of generative AI. The AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining key AI services and components that support efficient decision-making across the organization. Key tasks and responsibilities: Development and maintenance of selected features and components within AI services. Design, deployment, and management of autonomous AI agents capable of planning and executing complex processes. Collaboration on optimization of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems. Responsibility for the entire LLMOps lifecycle of generative AI services including CI/CD pipelines. Implementation of monitoring and observability for all AI systems. Introduction of evaluation frameworks to ensure system quality and reliability. Collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders in delivering solutions with real business impact. Supports cost efficiency of our artificial intelligence systems through proactive implementation of strategies such as intelligent model routing, caching, and prompt optimization. Basic experience: 3–5 years of experience. Strong background in software engineering with demonstrated knowledge of Python, experience creating and deploying applications on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and solid understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning fundamentals. Generative AI experience: Demonstrable practical experience creating and deploying production systems leveraging large language models (LLM). This includes deep knowledge of RAG pipeline architecture and proven experience with agent frameworks and tool implementation through function calls. Preferred production environment and MLOps skills: Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining systems in production environments. Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD principles. Knowledge of LLMOps principles and tools for versioning, observability, evaluation, and cost management. Strategic and collaborative skills: Pragmatic, product-oriented thinking with a focus on delivering practical solutions and excellent communication skills.
