Business Development Manager - Parking & Rental Operations

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an interim consultant to coordinate and develop the parking business at a property management company in Stockholm. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start in September 2026. About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced consultant for a longer-term assignment at a major property management company in Stockholm. The assignment involves overall responsibility for coordinating, developing, and monitoring the parking business, including surface parking, garages, charging infrastructure, contracts, rental operations, and financial tracking. The role combines business development, management, and operational responsibility. An important part of the assignment is also to develop future work methods and responsibility distribution within the parking area. As a consultant, you will, among other things: Coordinate and develop operations related to parking spaces and garages. Drive projects within charging infrastructure and electrification. Responsible for and develop operational, rental, and collaboration agreements, and conduct contract negotiations. Work actively with rental operations and marketing to reduce vacancies and increase occupancy rates. Monitor revenues, costs, budget, and forecasts for the parking business. Identify opportunities to develop and create new parking spaces in collaboration with the organization's various management areas. Review and develop policies and procedures for parking, garages, rental operations, and car-sharing. Analyze and manage the consequences of upcoming changes in VAT regulations for parking rentals. Contribute to defining future responsibility, work methods, and job descriptions for the parking business. You are expected to quickly familiarize yourself with existing systems, contracts, processes, and decision-making procedures, and thereafter work independently with a clear business and results focus. Other Details: Start: October 2026 End: September 2027 Scope: approximately 70% Location: Stockholm About You We are looking for someone who has: Relevant education or equivalent competence through professional experience. At least three years of current experience with independent work in, for example, business/operations development, rental operations, or management of parking, garages, commercial spaces, or comparable operations. Experience preparing, conducting, and following up on contract negotiations. Experience with calculations, budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking. Very good system skills and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new processes and work methods. Fluent Swedish in speech and writing. It is meritorious if you have experience from the real estate industry and/or commercial spaces, as well as experience in marketing, vacancy management, and measures to increase occupancy rates.
