Your Next Challenge As a Business Development Manager at Bollsta Sawmill, you will have a broad and business-oriented role where you work on developing, optimizing, and monitoring our operations. An important part of the assignment is to ensure that the investments made in Bollsta generate returns, by using raw materials in the best possible way. In the role, you work at the intersection of raw materials, production, and business, with significant elements of analysis and budgeting. You contribute to optimizing raw material utilization, with a focus on customer needs and profitability. You also work on developing how our systems are used in production, so that they support better decision-making and a more efficient working method. When needed, you collaborate with system vendors for further development and improvements. In the role, you work closely with the market, operators at the sawmill, the optimization department, and also with the Forest business area. This is a broad and developing role where you need to be able to prioritize, see the whole picture, and at the same time have a good sense for details. For you who enjoy calculating, analyzing, and finding smart solutions, there is an exciting opportunity here to contribute to the future of the sawmill business. Who Are You? We are looking for you who have an academic background as a forestry engineer, engineer, or economist, or alternatively other higher education and experience deemed equivalent. Experience in forestry, the sawmill industry, or other process industry is highly valued, as is a good understanding of business, production, and profitability. You have good analytical abilities and enjoy translating data, business understanding, and production knowledge into practical improvements. Experience working with databases and SQL is valued. To succeed in the role, you need to be structured, collaboration-oriented, and have a good ability to drive matters forward on your own. You are confident in coordinating multiple contact points and preferably have experience working in a project management capacity. With a curious and business-driven approach, you contribute to developing profitable solutions and to us using raw materials in the best possible way.
