Together we make a difference for society as a whole. The Region & Grid Network business area works with projects and maintenance of regional and grid network lines throughout the country. Our customers are primarily electricity network companies. As a Business Area Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead an operation with approximately 130 employees, six department managers, and three project managers. You have overall responsibility for business, results, and operational development, and you'll become a key person in meeting the significantly increasing demand for electricity network-related services. You'll have the opportunity to lead an engaged organization with strong specialist expertise and a clear focus on safety, quality, and business efficiency. Together with your management team, you drive the development of the operation, strengthen customer relationships, and create the conditions for continued growth and profitability. You'll play a crucial role in sizing and developing the operation for the future, where skills supply, recruitment, and organizational development become important success factors. We offer you a varied leadership assignment in a results-driven and business-focused operation. You'll have financial, strategic, and operational responsibility for the entire business area as well as close contact with our customers. You're also responsible for ensuring safe working methods and maintaining high employee engagement. You report to the Unit Manager for Projects and are part of the management group. Requirements Solid experience from contracting and/or the energy sector – you may, for example, have a background in construction, infrastructure, or industry Experience leading a larger project organization Extensive experience in a management position with responsibility for management groups, strategic planning, finances, personnel, and results Experience managing managers (advantageous) Communicates fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Sometimes you also need to communicate in English To be successful in the role, you are business-minded, customer-focused, and drive results through collaboration in your own management group as well as in the broader organization. You have the ability to set direction and bring your employees along through high participation. Your communication skills are excellent, and as a leader, you are clear, attentive, and a trusted support for your employees. Finally, you're experienced in leading remotely while also being present via phone and video. Travel is a natural part of the work (approximately 2 days/week), and a class B driver's license is required for the position.
