Together we make a difference for society. About the Role The Region & Grid business area works on projects and maintenance of regional and transmission grid lines throughout the country. Our customers are mainly grid companies. In your role as Business Area Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead an operation with approximately 130 employees, six department managers, and three project managers. You have overall responsibility for business, results, and operational development and will be a key person in meeting the significantly increasing demand for grid-related services. You'll have the opportunity to lead an engaged organization with strong specialist expertise and a clear focus on safety, quality, and business acumen. Together with your managers, you drive operational development, strengthen customer relationships, and create conditions for continued growth and profitability. You will play a decisive role in sizing and developing the business for the future, where workforce planning, recruitment, and organizational development become important success factors. We offer you a varied leadership assignment in a results-driven and business-oriented operation. You will have financial, strategic, and operational responsibility for the entire business area and maintain close contact with our customers. You're also responsible for ensuring safe working practices and maintaining high employee engagement. You report to the Unit Manager for Projects and are part of the management team. Requirements Solid experience from contracting and/or the energy sector – you may, for example, have a background in construction, infrastructure, or industry Experience leading a larger project organization Extensive experience in a leadership position with responsibility for management teams, strategic planning, finance, personnel, and results Experience managing managers (desirable) Communicates fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. Sometimes English communication is also required To be successful in this role, you are business-minded, customer-focused, and drive results through collaboration within your own management team and the broader organization. You have the ability to set direction and engage your employees through high participation. Your communication skills are excellent, and as a leader you are clear, attentive, and a reliable support for your employees. Finally, you're experienced in leading remotely while also being present via phone and video. Travel is a natural part of the work (approximately 2 days/week), and a valid driver's license is a requirement for the position.
