Together we make a difference, for the entire society. About the Role The Region & Main Grid business area works with projects and maintenance of regional and main grid lines throughout the country. Our customers are primarily electricity grid companies. In the role as Business Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead an operation with approximately 130 employees, six department managers, and three project managers. You have overall responsibility for business, results, and operational development, and you will become a key person in meeting the significantly increasing demand for electricity grid-related services. You will have the opportunity to lead an engaged organization with strong specialist competence and a clear focus on safety, quality, and business efficiency. Together with your managers, you drive the development of the operation, strengthen customer relationships, and create conditions for continued growth and profitability. You will play a decisive role in sizing and developing the operation for the future, where competence supply, recruitment, and organizational development become important success factors. We offer you a varied leadership assignment in a results-oriented and business-focused operation. You will have financial, strategic, and operational responsibility for the entire business area as well as close contact with our customers. Furthermore, you are responsible for ensuring safe work practices and maintaining high employee engagement. You report to the Unit Manager for Projects and are part of the management team. Job Requirements Solid experience from contracting and/or the energy sector – for example, you may have a background in construction, infrastructure, or industry Experience leading a larger project organization Extensive experience in a senior position with responsibility for management teams, strategic planning, finance, personnel, and results Experience managing managers (meritorious) Communicates fluently in Swedish both orally and in writing. Sometimes you will also need to communicate in English To be successful in the role, you are business-minded, customer-focused, and drive results through collaboration in your own management team as well as in the wider organization. You have the ability to set direction and bring your employees along through high engagement. Your communication skills are excellent, and as a leader, you are clear, responsive, and a trusted support for your employees. Finally, you are accustomed to leading remotely while also being present via phone and video. Travel is a natural part of the work (approximately 2 days/week), and a B-class driving license is a requirement for the position.
