We need more energy heroes and now we're looking for a committed Business Area Manager for our project operations for major Station projects! Is that you? Together we make a difference, for all of society. About the Role The Large Station Projects business area works with Station and Hydropower projects throughout the country. Our customers are primarily distribution network companies and power producers. As Business Area Manager, you are responsible for four departments (with four directly reporting department managers), four project managers, and four specialists. Total responsibility for approximately 100 employees. You will have the privilege of leading a knowledgeable and engaged team that works together to develop the business and create long-term strong results. We offer you a varied leadership role in a results-driven and business-oriented operation. You will have financial, strategic, and operational responsibility for the entire business area as well as close contact with our customers. You are also responsible for ensuring safe work practices and maintaining high employee engagement. You report to the Head of Projects and are part of the management group. Requirements Solid experience from contracting and/or the energy sector – for example, you could have a background in construction, infrastructure, or industry Experience leading a larger project organization that includes turnkey contracts Extensive experience in a management position with responsibility for management groups, strategic planning, finance, personnel, and results Experience managing managers (meritorious) Communicates fluently in Swedish orally and in writing. Sometimes you also need to communicate in English To be successful in this role, you are business-minded, customer-oriented, and drive results through collaboration in your own management group as well as in the organization at large. You have the ability to set direction and bring your employees along through high engagement. Your communication skills are excellent and as a leader you are clear, responsive, and a trusted support for your employees. Finally, you are accustomed to leading remotely while also being present via phone and video. Travel is a natural part of the work (approximately 2 days/week) and a Class B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
