We need more energy heroes, and now we're looking for an engaged Business Area Manager for our project operations in major Station Projects! Is that you? Together we make a difference, for all of society. About the Role The Large Station Projects business area works with power station and hydropower projects throughout the country. Our customers are primarily grid operators and power producers. As Business Area Manager, you will be responsible for four departments (with four directly reporting department managers), four project managers, and four specialists. Total responsibility for approximately 100 employees. You'll have the privilege of leading a skilled and engaged team working together to develop the business and create long-term strong results. We offer you a varied leadership role in a results-oriented and business-focused operation. You will have financial, strategic, and operational responsibility for the entire business area and close contact with our customers. You will also be responsible for ensuring safe work practices and maintaining high employee engagement. You report to the Project Unit Manager and are part of the management team. Requirements Solid experience from contracting and/or energy industry – you may have a background in construction, infrastructure, or industry Experience leading a large project organization involving turnkey contracts Extensive experience in a leadership position with responsibility for management teams, strategic planning, finance, personnel, and results Experience managing managers (meriting) Communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. Sometimes communication in English is also required To be successful in this role, you are business-minded, customer-oriented, and drive results through collaboration within your management team as well as in the organization at large. You have the ability to set direction and bring your employees along through high engagement. Your communication skills are excellent and as a leader you are clear, attentive, and a reliable support for your employees. Finally, you are experienced in leading remotely while also being present via phone and video. Travel is a natural part of the work (approximately 2 days/week) and a valid driver's license is required for the position.
