Do you want to be part of developing one of Örebro's largest football clubs? Adolfsbergs IK is seeking an engaged and well-organized club manager who wants to create excellent conditions for our coaches, teams, and members and help children, youth, and adults develop together through sports. You don't need to know everything from the start—we are flexible and will shape the role based on the right person's experience, strengths, and development potential. ABOUT ADOLFSBERGS IK Adolfsbergs IK was founded in 1943 and is based at the beautiful Lugnet Sports Park in Örebro. The facility includes grass fields, artificial turf, and our clubhouse. Adolfsbergs IK is one of Örebro's largest football clubs with approximately 80 committed coaches and about 600 members. We run activities for girls and boys from age 3 to senior teams on both the women's and men's sides. Currently, we have an administrator at 40% in the office in addition to the Club Manager role. ABOUT THE POSITION As Club Manager, you have overall responsibility for ensuring the club's day-to-day operations run smoothly. The role is primarily about creating structure, planning ahead, coordinating work, and following up to ensure activities are carried out, in close collaboration with your office colleague, the board, coaches, and volunteers. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you become the club's operational hub. You create order, clarity, and foresight in daily operations and ensure the right things happen at the right time. Your main areas of responsibility: • Planning and follow-up: You drive the club's annual calendar, plan training times, match bookings, hall times, and grant applications well in advance, and continuously monitor progress. • Coordination and communication: You are the link between the board, office, teams, coaches, and external partners such as Örebro Municipality, Örebro County Football Association, and RF-SISU. • Coach support and values: You support coaches, plan coach meetings and training, and contribute to a safe and clear club culture. • Administration and matches: You handle field schedules, match bookings, licenses, referee assignments, registry records, memberships, fees, and grant documentation. • Marketing, sponsorship, and communication: You develop the club's visibility, strengthen the brand, manage social media, and contribute to new partnerships and sponsorships. • Facilities and operations: You ensure that Lugnet Sports Park is a welcoming and functioning environment, including fields, clubhouse, changing rooms, restrooms, and kiosk. • Tournaments and events: You coordinate the AIF Cup, the club's involvement in the Örebro Cup, and activities such as Adolfsbergsdagen and Valborg. • Development work: You identify improvements, drive development initiatives, and help strengthen children's, youth, and senior activities. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU IF YOU • Have experience in club life, preferably in football, and understand the work behind the scenes. • Are organized and can plan, prioritize, and follow up on both short- and long-term matters. • Communicate clearly, collaborate well, and are comfortable coordinating people and tasks. • Have good administrative skills and can work in the Office suite. Experience with Fogis and Laget.se is an asset. • Are comfortable leading meetings, handling everyday questions, and contributing to solutions when different needs need to be balanced. • Have a driver's license and access to your own car. • Speak and write good Swedish and English. We are looking for a confident, solution-oriented, and responsible person with good social skills. You thrive in a role where you both get to create structure and meet people, and you see the variety of club life as a natural part of the task. You need to be clear, unpretentious, and flexible—but also have the ability to maintain direction, make everyday decisions, and ensure that work moves forward.
