Temporary Administrator Position (12 months) at Stockholm Vision Center About the Position This position is located at Stockholm Vision Center, which is part of SLSO. Stockholm Vision Center employs approximately 60 people working with rehabilitation and habilitation for individuals with vision impairments or blindness. We serve all of Stockholm. We are organized into a children's unit and an adult unit and are located in modern facilities centrally at Fridhemsplan. Our team includes vision pedagogues, opticians, social workers, psychologists, physiotherapists, ICT educators, Braille instructors, administrators, and more. Responsibilities As an administrator, you will be responsible for providing qualified administrative support to the operations, including: Medical record documentation and administrative management in care systems Appointment notifications, rebooking, and patient-related administration Administrative support to unit managers and teams Monitoring, statistics, and reporting according to regional requirements Communication with guardians, internal functions, and external stakeholders Ensuring that administrative procedures are followed in accordance with applicable regulations Qualifications – Required (Must-Have) Requirements To be considered for this position, you must meet all of the following requirements. At least 3 years of current experience (within the last 5 years) in qualified administrative work within healthcare, habilitation, or other regional or government-managed operations At least 2 years of documented practical experience with the TakeCare medical record system Documented experience working with the region's administrative support systems, such as Heroma Documented experience independently initiating, prioritizing, and completing multiple simultaneous tasks with high throughput while maintaining quality, with minimal need for oversight or correction Strong and applied knowledge of confidentiality legislation (OSL) and the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Very strong ability to express yourself clearly in both speech and writing in Swedish Personal Qualities You are organized, thorough, and have high integrity. You have a strong ability to prioritize, follow established procedures, and ensure that administration maintains high quality even under time pressure. Other Information Significant weight will be placed on documented relevant experience and a good understanding of the administrative requirements of healthcare operations. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County healthcare area: - A background check will be conducted prior to the employment decision in accordance with SLSO's general guidelines for background checks upon hiring. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required.
