About the Unit
162nd Air Base Battalion is part of Uppland Air Squadron, F 16. The battalion consists of battalion leadership with battalion staff, air base leadership, 1621st Air Base Company, and 1622nd Air Base Security Company.
The battalion's main task is to maintain operations and provide security around the air base. The base battalion's daily work includes active operations with very short time frames alternated with long-term planning and preparations, such as basing the Swedish Armed Forces' new reconnaissance aircraft S106 at F 16.
Main Responsibilities
You provide administrative support to leadership and commanders within the battalion's various HR and personnel processes. Your tasks include producing statistics and reports, quality-assuring leave schedules and shift planning for staff and management. You support the commander with recruitment announcements, send out notices, and prepare minutes. You enjoy acting in a service function and thrive with occasionally high pace. You work closely with other HR and personnel functions within F 16 to contribute to the function's development. Other administrative tasks may also occur.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Upper secondary school education
Current experience with administrative work
Good skills in Office suite
Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing
B-class driver's license
