DUTIES We are looking for someone interested in a combined position where you work approximately 50 percent as an administrator with chief of staff support duties and approximately 50 percent as a coordinator for research grants, among other things, in the section for pediatric oncology, pediatric hematology, pediatric immunology, and pediatric nephrology. In your role as chief of staff support, you provide qualified administrative support to the section head and to the section's various activities and projects. We place great emphasis on service, and you will support both the head and the section's employees in daily work. You handle invoices, payroll and personnel matters, and IT orders. Together with the section's employees, you plan and conduct conferences and ST training, as well as coordinate internal training and internal meetings. As a grant coordinator, you have a central role in coordinating work around the section's external grants. This involves requisitioning, administration, budget monitoring, and reporting of a large number of grants, with emphasis on the Pediatric Cancer Center which is part of the section. This includes grants from the Childhood Cancer Foundation, childhood cancer initiatives through the Regional Cancer Center (RCC), as well as research grants from industry and other funders. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome applicants who have completed upper secondary education. You should also have post-secondary education relevant to the position. Strong skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required. If you have previous experience working in a service role, this is a merit for the position. We also view positively if you have experience coordinating and managing smaller projects. Experience with Raindance, Qlikview, and/or HR-fönster is an advantage. We also view positively experience with financial administration work and familiarity with Excel. You have a genuine interest in helping others and do so with a positive attitude. To succeed in the role, it is an advantage if you are unpretentious, flexible, and solution-focused. You take great responsibility for your tasks and can structure your work independently. You serve not only the section's employees but also various other employees within the pediatrics department, and it is important that you can see the needs of the whole team and its members. The ability to collaborate with many different types of people is significant. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, as the role requires professional conduct with the section's employees, good collaboration with other chief of staff support staff within the pediatrics department, and close collaboration with the section head.
