Your Responsibilities
In your role as a card handler, you will work with the management of eService cards linked to the SITHS identity service – a central security solution for strong authentication within the public sector. You are responsible for ensuring that the right person receives the right authorization and electronic identity according to applicable processes and regulations.
You will work both administratively and operatively, with daily contact with users. The work takes place on-site at the organization's facilities as well as at customer locations within the City of Gothenburg and in some cases within the Västra Götaland Region.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
Receiving users for photography, activation, and issuance of eService cards
Administering card orders in the associated system
Issuing replacement cards (LoA2 and LoA3)
Deregistering cards and managing unlocking and ordering of PUK codes
Ensuring that work follows applicable procedures and regulations
Traveling to facilities to perform card photography and activation
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is organized, thorough, and has a strong sense of service. You thrive in a role where you can combine administration with people contact and where you take responsibility for work being completed correctly.
You have good communication skills and feel comfortable meeting different types of users in your daily work. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and adapt easily to changing needs.
To succeed in this role, you need to be able to work independently while also being a team player who contributes to a positive work environment. You are accustomed to working in administrative systems and have a thorough work approach where you follow procedures and processes.
A B-class driver's license is a requirement as the role involves travel to facilities within the City of Gothenburg and in some cases within the Västra Götaland Region. Previous experience with SITHS card management is a merit.
All communication and documentation occurs in Swedish, which means you need to have very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
