The role of administrative unit manager As a unit manager, you have operational, personnel, and financial responsibility. You will work with a development and results-oriented approach so that your team achieves results according to the organization's and profession's goals. Your role also includes clinical work in your core profession. Being a manager with us means both daily management, change and efficiency improvement work, as well as strategic management work. Cross-boundary and inter-professional collaboration, standardization work, and competence development are prioritized focus areas. As a unit manager, you also have the opportunity to lead your employees through the changed professional role that medical secretaries are facing. An exciting development given the digital transformation and the concept of right use of competence. We are also in an exciting phase where we are developing a team-based approach across the entire health center. With us, you will be an important part of the health center's overall mission to provide good and safe care and service to the health center's patients. Your main duties besides your management assignment will be medical documentation, diagnosis classification, and other healthcare administrative tasks such as IT support. The position is a permanent employment in your core profession with a time-limited assignment as an administrative unit manager. Your future workplace Bra Liv Nässjö Health Center is part of Bra Liv Health Centers and belongs to the region-run primary care. Our objective is "better health for all," which we achieve by showing care, thinking holistically, and creating quality. Our team at Nässjö Health Center currently consists of approximately 60 employees in several different professional roles, and the health center currently has approximately 15,000 registered patients. In our premises is also Nässjö Training Center, where we introduce foreign-trained doctors to Swedish primary care and conduct various types of competence development initiatives for our employees. Nässjö, with a population of approximately 31,000 inhabitants, is located along the railway between Malmö and Stockholm and thus has excellent connections throughout the country. From Nässjö, you can also easily drive to Jönköping in approximately 30 minutes, where there is a wide range of cultural and entertainment activities. There is also a university there. Our activities are based on personal meetings where you, through your commitment and professional approach, contribute to development and continuous improvements. You are engaged, action-oriented, and an inspiring leader with the ability to see and connect the business as a whole to your work group's goals and performance. We expect you to be good at motivating, supporting, and coaching. You are loyal to the organization and its decisions. You have a communicative approach that allows you to convey goals, visions, and translate them into concrete plans and achieve targets. You have good knowledge of Swedish and the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. It is desirable if you have previous experience working in our Cosmic journal system, but it is not required. Meritorious are knowledge and experience as a manager or leader and/or development and change work. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
