Welcome to us Äppelviksskolan is a municipal primary school in Bromma with approximately 540 students in grades 7-9 and 58 employees, of which approximately 40 are teachers. The school is in a unified school building beautifully located next to a forest area a stone's throw from Mälaren. We have a school kitchen and all students at the school have their own digital devices. All teachers at the school work in both work teams and subject teams, while other staff are part of a service team and/or an EHT-team. At the school, both students and staff thrive, and there are high expectations for good results from all parties. Your role In your role as Administrative Director at Äppelviksskolan, you contribute to ensuring that we can offer the best possible school for our students and a well-functioning and appreciated workplace for our employees. The assignment includes: - Being part of the school's management team and a support to the principal in developing and maintaining an efficient and appropriate organization at the school. - Providing support regarding operational and environmental analyses with a focus on financial management and the design of other management systems. Responsibility for budget, follow-up, and planning processes, as well as any procurement including the entire procurement process. - Being the immediate supervisor for administrative and service staff, responsible for management, administration, and development, systematic work environment work, and operational development of these functions. The design is done so that they provide support and relief for the school's educational activities. - Responsible for and ensure legal certainty for the school's document management matters, such as archives and filing. - Have administrative and budget responsibility for the school facility with all associated areas and premises regarding operations and maintenance. - Handle contacts with external providers of facility services and the school's food supplier. Have coordination responsibility for the school's IT-administrative work. - Provide support for and coordinate the systematic work environment work for the entire school. We are looking for you who have: - A university or college degree in economics or other relevant education. - Knowledge and experience working with budgets and follow-up. - Experience leading work groups. - Good communication skills and can express yourself well verbally and in writing. - Knowledge of what administrative processes are required and how these are central to the management and governance of an organization. It is advantageous if you have: - Management experience in a relevant field. - Experience as an Administrative Director within a school. - Experience working in the public sector. - Experience with responsibility for operations, facilities, and IT infrastructure. - Experience with archiving and filing. - Knowledge of school organization and the city's administrative systems.
