Do you want to work with international education and make a real difference? In this role, you help Scandinavian students take the step out into the world. You guide, inspire, and match prospective students with programs at universities, colleges, and language schools that STUDIN represents. You are involved from the first curious question until the student is in place at their school – with admission confirmed and all practical details sorted. This is a role where advising, sales, and administration are equally important parts of success. About the Role As an Account Manager – Student Advisor, you are responsible for your own student portfolio and drive your cases independently through the entire process. You have daily contact with teenagers and young adults – and in some cases their parents – via phone, digital meetings, email, and in-person meetings. This is not routine work with ready-made templates to rely on. Every student is unique. You need to quickly be able to familiarize yourself with new educational programs, destinations, and regulations, search for information when needed, and make well-informed decisions in dialogue with the student. Your Main Areas of Responsibility Guide and match students with the right education and destination Actively sell options and help the student make decisions Read, screen, and understand the student's motivations, circumstances, and goals Continuously drive and follow up on your student portfolio Ensure that applications, documents, and deadlines are handled correctly Work systematically with follow-up and conversion Collaborate with our partner schools around the world You need to be comfortable managing many parallel processes at the same time – and be able to maintain calm and structure even when the student is stressed about important decisions. Your confidence and trustworthy manner are critical. You will also Give presentations at high schools and colleges throughout Sweden Plan, implement, and participate in fairs, events, and workshops Represent STUDIN in meetings with collaboration partners Visit our universities and language schools abroad Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who is well-educated, well-traveled, and genuinely interested in the world. You have a natural ability to absorb new information and enjoy seeking knowledge when needed. Background Academic degree (at least Bachelor's level) You have studied abroad for at least one semester yourself Several years of experience from, for example, sales, customer service, education, communications, tourism, or similar Personal Qualities Relationship-building, personable, and confident Structured and self-directed Comfortable working at a fast pace and managing many cases simultaneously Stress-resistant and stable when facing others' uncertainty Results-driven and accustomed to working with follow-up Very strong ability to express yourself in Swedish and English Comfortable speaking in front of larger groups International experience – studies, work, internships, language courses, or longer stays abroad – is highly valued.
