Line Worker 50% in Packaging, Bakery and Food Production Work Area: Gluten-free bakery, packaging and food production Start Date: Immediate About the Job Sanus Glutenfri AB is seeking an engaged, meticulous and hardworking line worker to join our team at our factory in Marieholm. The position is primarily focused on packaging in cold storage, where work includes vacuum packing, metal detection inspection, carton handling, taping, palletizing and handling finished products. The work may also include packaging of flour mix in separate bags, sealing, labeling and palletizing. Work takes place in food production with high standards for hygiene, quality, labeling, traceability and safe product handling. The person must therefore be able to follow instructions carefully, work at a fast pace and understand the importance of correct labeling, batch handling and FIFO. Sanus Glutenfri AB operates according to GFSI-related requirements, IP Livsmedel, the company's internal procedures and Swedish food legislation. If needed, additional work hours may occur. In that case, other tasks within bakery, production, cleaning, warehouse, documentation and quality systems may become relevant. Work Tasks Your main work tasks will include: working with packaging of finished products in cold storage, vacuum packing products in bags according to company instructions, running vacuum-packed products through metal detector, checking that products pass through the metal detector according to current procedures, folding and preparing cartons, placing finished bags in the correct carton, checking that the correct product is placed in the correct carton, checking that cartons have the correct product information, date and batch number, moving cartons forward to the taping machine, checking that cartons are properly sealed, placing finished cartons on pallets according to instructions, ensuring that palletizing is done in a safe and correct manner, driving or moving finished pallets to freezer or warehouse according to instructions, working according to FIFO principles, checking labeling, date, batch number and traceability information, reporting errors, deviations or suspected problems to management, packaging flour mix in separate bags, sealing flour mix bags according to instructions, labeling, checking and palletizing flour mix according to company procedures, keeping the work area clean, organized and hygienic, cleaning premises, machines, work surfaces and equipment according to company procedures. Secondary Work Tasks as Needed If needed, the employee may also assist with other work tasks within the operation, such as: work on parts of the production line, simple support with shaping, baking and handling of gluten-free bakery products, monitoring of industrial ovens, machines and other production equipment according to instructions, packaging of other finished products, inspection of packaging, seals and product quality, recording of production tasks, deviation reporting, inventory control, contributing to safe, efficient production according to company procedures. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: previous experience in packaging, line work, bakery, food production or other industrial manufacturing, experience with handling and packaging of finished products, ability to work at a fast pace for extended periods, ability to follow work instructions, hygiene procedures and safety rules, basic understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling, ability to inspect product, labeling, date and batch number, understanding of why traceability is important in food production, ability to work carefully even when work is repetitive, ability to report errors, deviations and risks, ability to read and understand instructions and communicate in Swedish or English, good teamwork skills and a responsible work ethic. Meritorious Experience It is an advantage if you have experience with: packaging in food production, work in cold storage or temperature-controlled environments, vacuum packing, metal detection in food production, carton handling, taping machine and palletizing, packaging of flour, powder or dry food products, gluten-free food production or gluten-free baking, product labeling, date marking and batch handling, FIFO and warehouse management, traceability work in food production, self-inspections, production logs and deviation reporting, GMP, HACCP, GFSI, IFS, IP Livsmedel, ISO or similar quality and food safety systems, basic computer use and digital documentation, forklift certification or experience handling pallets and warehouse flow. We are looking for a person who can follow instructions carefully at first, but who after training can work more independently.
