Personal Assistant for a 5-Year-Old Girl in Skogås

Personal assistance is a service provided under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly. About the Position The girl needs assistance and active supervision 24/7 as her oxygen saturation can change rapidly. Being attentive and reading the girl's condition is very important and part of your duties. The work also involves engaging the girl in playful activities and helping with tasks required in her daily life, such as feeding her, changing clothes, and going to the park. We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria: Willing to work for a 5-year-old girl living in Skogås Good knowledge of Swedish and Spanish languages Previous experience in personal assistance Able to work in a home where there is a dog It is also advantageous if you: Are a trained nursing assistant Have previous experience with ventilators or oxygen therapy Are caring and confident in yourself Are active, self-motivated, and enjoy maintaining a busy daily routine with lots of activities Personal suitability will be weighted heavily. Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary: The current employment type is "for the duration of the assistance assignment." We are seeking one personal assistant. The employment level is 100%. Work hours: Monday–Friday 07:30–15:30. Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation in accordance with the collective agreement. Start Date By agreement. Working at Humana A requirement to begin employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. According to legislation, we as an employer must request a criminal record certificate from all employees who will work as a personal assistant for a child under 18 years old.
