About the Position We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented 3D laser operator for our client in Ulricehamn. In this role, you will work in a production environment where precision and quality are critical. You will be employed by Uniflex and assigned to the client for an extended assignment with the possibility of extension or transition to the client company for the right candidate.
The work involves setting up and programming laser cutting machines, performing cuts according to drawings and manufacturing specifications, and ensuring that products meet the correct tolerances and surface quality. You will work closely with the production team and workshop management to optimize production flows and ensure timely deliveries.
Working hours are daytime with the possibility of shift work when needed. Location: Ulricehamn.
Responsibilities
Program and set up 3D laser cutting machines (CAD/CAM basis)
Read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
Perform cuts and processing with high precision
Quality control and measurement of finished components
Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
Collaborate with planning, welding, and other production departments for efficient workflow
Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
Who Are You? We are looking for someone who is organized, technically minded, and accustomed to working at a pace where precision is important. You thrive with responsibility for machine setup and quality assurance and enjoy collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
We would like you to have:
Experience with 3D laser cutting or similar machine processing
Knowledge of CAD/CAM programs and blueprint reading
Strong ability to measure and inspect components (measuring tools, tolerances)
Technical interest and initiative
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Merits:
Experience with fiber lasers and/or sheet metal processing machines
Previous work in a production environment in a machine shop or sheet metal facility
Forklift certification and previous material handling experience
Post-secondary technical education or apprenticeship training
