The Welfare and Care Administration is divided into two departments: Health Care and Elderly Care in one, and Individual and Family Care (IFO) and LSS in the other. We are seeking a unit manager for a permanent position, as well as a unit manager for a limited time as a replacement for one of our managers who will be on parental leave. 2 position(s). DUTIES We are seeking a unit manager for one of our special residences, Olofsgården in Åseda, and we are seeking a unit manager for home care services in Alstermo. At Olofsgården in Åseda, in addition to 23 places for special residential care, we have 5 places for temporary placement such as short-term care, respite care, and planned relief. At our special residence, our mission is to provide support, security, and excellent care for life. At the same time, our care recipients should have the opportunity to live a good life with activities, conversations, and meetings of very high quality. Within our short-term services, we actively work to strengthen individuals toward independent living while also providing excellent care, all based on the individual's needs. Within home care services, we help and support people in their home environment. We work according to the care coordinator's decision on what the individual can manage on their own in daily life and where we need to provide support. As a unit manager with us, you have overall responsibility for your operations regarding personnel, finances, quality, and development. You receive good support from both your manager and colleagues regarding your role in the administration. You report directly to the department manager and participate with your management colleagues in the leadership group for elderly care/health care. You plan and organize the unit based on current legislation, political objectives, guidelines, and procedures. You lead your operations through present leadership and by being genuinely interested in people, both regarding employees and especially those we serve. One of these positions will be a temporary replacement for 9 months with possible extension. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a strong ability to lead and motivate to effectively reach set goals. Your personal qualities as a leader are important, and we see that you are someone who is secure, stable, and has good self-awareness. As a person, you are responsive and flexible in your relationships with others, and you are skilled at creating engagement and participation. You should have a higher education degree as a social worker or another higher education degree that the employer considers appropriate. You need to have good knowledge of the legislation within your field of operations, and it is a merit if you have previously worked as a manager or in a leadership position. As a leader in our organization, we see that you are a present person with an unpretentious, structured, and clear leadership style. You have clear and distinct communication and ensure that the right information is conveyed to your work team. You have an easy time seeing the department and the entire administration from a holistic perspective. For this position, you need a class B driver's license and access to your own car. Salary form: Monthly salary. Type of employment: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement. Interviews may be conducted on a rolling basis during the recruitment process.
