The Investigation and Protection unit consists of a reception desk, two investigation groups, a high-intensity investigation group, and the social services team for violence in close relationships. The operational area also includes the Prevention Support unit and the Family Support and Foster Care unit, which enables close collaboration and the right help at the right time. We are looking for a Senior Social Worker who wants to drive processes forward by being structured, legally knowledgeable, curious, and brave, and you will support your team to be the same—together with the unit's four other Senior Social Workers and our two operations-close unit managers. Your Assignment As a Senior Social Worker, your primary responsibility is to lead and distribute work and function as an easily accessible support, both individually and in groups. As a Senior Social Worker, you have a coordinating role and work for good collaboration with external and internal operations. You plan, monitor the external environment, and develop our operations at the unit level as well as within the operational area, together with colleagues, fellow senior social workers, and unit managers. You provide methodological support and take responsibility for introducing newly hired colleagues together with the unit manager and colleagues. You work from current guidelines and take responsibility for ensuring that work is conducted with legal certainty, is of good quality, and is resource-efficient. What This Position Requires Requirements: You have a degree in social work (socionom) B-class driver's license Experience with public authority work within social services Meritorious: Experience in a leadership role Experience with social work with children and youth and reception work Training in leadership, BBiC, Signs of Safety, evidence-based methods, MI, ViNR, or honor-related violence and oppression For employment in a public authority position, a background check will be conducted, including an extract from the Police's criminal record register and certificates of studies from a college or university.
