I'm a 13-year-old boy looking for a boy or girl who wants to become my personal assistant a few days a week. I have cerebral palsy and an intellectual disability, which means I need extra help in my daily life. I'm a social and happy guy who lives with my mom & dad and little sister in a house in Barkarö in Västerås. Your workplace will be wherever I am, both at home and in other places. My duties include accompanying me to various fun activities I do in my free time. I'm an active guy and we're a family that enjoys doing things. Much of my free time is spent on various types of training. I train both at home, at the gym, and do frame running, among other things. It would be great if you, like me, enjoy being physically active, because then we can have a lot of fun together. I also enjoy watching sports and playing various video games. As my assistant, you will be my extended arm and help me in my daily life so that I can become as independent as possible. Tasks include helping me with training, transfers, hygiene situations, and various activities. Some manual lifting is involved, so you need to have a physically strong and healthy body. As an assistant, you need to be empathetic and attentive as a person and be able to collaborate with me and my family so that the assistance becomes the way I want it. The most important thing is that we have good chemistry and get along well together. For this position, you must: Have a high sense of responsibility Be flexible and willing to work Speak and write Swedish fluently without restrictions It's an advantage if you have a driver's license & car so you can get to my home Great weight will be placed on personal suitability Work hours: certain weekdays around 16:30-20:00 and every other weekend Saturday & Sunday around 09:00-18:30 Employment form: Hourly employment initially, with the possibility of fixed work up to approximately 40%.
