Work tasks and responsibilities: As a personal assistant, you support him in daily routines such as cooking, laundry, cleaning, personal hygiene, and medication – while keeping an eye on his general health and well-being. You mediate, clarify, and increase understanding in social and private contexts when communication alone isn't sufficient. You participate in activities and daily adventures that contribute to a stimulating and meaningful everyday life. The role requires you to be punctual and structured – but also have a hidden talent for spontaneity and improvisation. You need to have a grounded respect for home, household, and people. With attentiveness, curiosity, and the desire to balance between humanity and professionalism, you become a support for both the client and his family. Prior knowledge of sign language or TakK is a merit, but not necessary. If you have the openness and willingness to learn, you can develop it on the job.
