Personal Assistant Central Åmål
Do you want a job where you make a real difference in someone else's daily life? We are now looking for more personal assistants for several different assistance assignments. Our assistance users have different needs, interests, and personalities, which is why we also seek people with different experiences, qualities, and strengths. Experience with personal assistance, autism, intellectual disability, or work within LSS is a merit, but what is most important is that you are confident, responsible, and willing to learn. We have assignments that place different demands. Some involve an active life with many activities, while others are more about creating calm, structure, and security. In some assignments, low-affective communication and experience with autism are particularly valuable. We don't believe the perfect assistant exists. However, we believe that a strong team consists of people who complement each other. Therefore, we would like you to tell us a little about yourself in your application: What do you think you are really good at? Is there anything you feel less comfortable with? Do you have any special knowledge, experiences, or interests that could enrich someone else's daily life? Do you enjoy cooking, exercising, spending time in nature, gardening, crafting, playing music, tinkering, photographing, or something completely different? Please tell us! We also appreciate people who are comfortable with organization and order, have a good eye for hygiene, and contribute to a clean, calm, and pleasant home environment. With us, you will receive a thorough introduction, engaged colleagues, and the opportunity to develop in meaningful work where every individual is at the center. We look forward to getting to know you!
Two Personal Assistants Södermalm
One assistant has completed her 3-year training, another has received an offer she can't refuse, and our MAL is planning to move to her home region far up north. We are therefore seeking two new female assistants, at 60 and 80 percent respectively, with one assistant able to transition to MAL once you've learned the main person's routines and needs. Start date as soon as possible for one of the positions. The main person is a 32-year-old woman who receives around-the-clock assistance to support her with epilepsy, memory, and cognition. She lives in her own apartment and commutes to her daily activities Monday through Thursday. The assistant accompanies her, and much of the work involves supporting both her artistic work and social engagement. Fridays are dedicated to personal activities, and weekends to maintaining the home, where the aroma of freshly baked bread has become a signature. You actively work to improve the main person's quality of life, stimulate social contacts, and of course provide protection during seizures. You also help maintain conversation and bring back memories through documentation in words and images. You work scheduled 24-hour shifts (maximum 8 nights per 4 weeks due to on-call duty), and occasional day shifts when dual assistance is needed for activities such as climbing and swimming. Otherwise, the work involves maintaining the home and the things independent adults do. You will receive thorough training by working alongside our experienced assistants. We are looking for someone who is: -responsible, curious, and committed to contributing to our main person's quality of life -has experience working as a personal assistant, and -is calm and stable You need to speak Swedish to avoid misunderstandings. The two decisive salary criteria are: increase the main person's quality of life and relieve family members. The company HDA ab has held authorization from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare for 15 years and was founded by the mother. Management is handled primarily by the team leader. Team meeting 3 hours once a month. You will receive training in epilepsy, low-arousal approaches, and working with memory support. HDA is a member of Fremia and follows the Fremia-Kommunal agreement, with fixed overtime and on-call compensation, etc. NOTE! Women applicants only!
