Personal Assistant for a 9-Month-Old Boy

Here you will be an important support in the child's daily life, for both him and his family, where we place particularly high demands on professionalism, attentiveness, and harmony. The work is carried out with double staffing in the home and means that you are in the child's immediate proximity with respect for both siblings and parents. You are an extension of the child and should not assume any parental role, even though working with small children requires a lot of time holding or on the floor and therefore good physical fitness. Since the needs can involve acute situations, high stress tolerance and the ability to act quickly are required. Work Tasks (may include the following, among others): - Monitoring and care - Suctioning - NIV/BiPAP - Feeding (tube/other feeding as needed) - Medication management according to prescription - Hygiene and diaper changes - Play, stimulation and closeness - Collaboration with parents and care staff - The work requires accuracy, attentiveness, and the ability to work calmly even in situations requiring extra attention. - The work is performed primarily in the home environment but also wherever the boy is located and is adapted to individual needs and conditions. Qualifications: - Have experience with children, preferably infants/toddlers - Have experience in care and support (advantageous) - Calm, secure, and patient - Attentive, responsible, stress-tolerant - Reliable, engaged, and playful Experience as a personal assistant, or with children and/or disabilities, is advantageous but not required. Personal suitability is decisive. Great emphasis is placed on security, empathy, and the ability to create a calm and safe environment. Employment Terms: We are looking for you who can work daytime, evening, and night shifts, both part-time, full-time, or as an hourly substitute. The schedule can potentially be adjusted but this needs to be stated in your application. Other Information Relatives of the customer will be involved in the recruitment process and read the applications. To work with children, a criminal record clearance is required. This must be presented before employment can begin. Introduction, support, and guidance are provided continuously and as needed by Monument Assistans.
