The position is located within Habilitation for Children and Youth in Gothenburg, placed at the Hisingen clinic. Patients are distributed among one autism/ID clinic and two movement disorder clinics. Patients with autism/ID belong to the Hisingen clinic. As a dietitian, you will have comprehensive knowledge of all patient groups as we collaborate and distribute resources based on needs. You will work in a multidisciplinary team with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists, speech therapists, and special educators. Within Habilitation for Children and Youth, we work with the whole picture around the patient together with other professions. You will be able to work independently with assessments, nutritional treatment, and counseling for the patient and people around the patient. The work is primarily directed toward patients with underweight, malnutrition, growth deviations, and eating difficulties due to functional disability. Many of the patients have a gastrostomy, so experience with enteral nutrition is advantageous. The work is varied. Habilitation offers interventions individually or in groups. Interventions are provided directly to the patient or indirectly to relatives and/or staff in the patient's immediate environment.
