Our services are directed toward children and young people with autism spectrum disorder and/or intellectual disabilities. You will assess patients' abilities and activity levels, plan and implement treatment interventions together with the patient, caregivers, or others in the patient's network. The work is team-based and you will have close contact with other professionals in your team. You will also assess and prescribe assistive devices, provide information, coaching, and consultation to patients, family members, and staff. Collaboration with other healthcare providers and authorities is also part of your responsibilities. We provide services both individually and in groups. The work takes place either digitally or physically at our facilities and, when needed, in the patient's home environment. The work is highly varied. You will receive an introductory period and a mentor. The children and youth habilitation unit has good collaboration across the region, and we help each other between units when needed. Qualifications You are a licensed occupational therapist. We would prefer that you have experience working in a habilitation unit and that you have experience providing assessment and treatment interventions to children and young people with autism and intellectual disabilities. The work involves collaboration with caregivers and the patient's network, with other professionals within habilitation, and with other healthcare providers, which places great demands on collaboration skills, flexibility, and good communication. We place great importance on personal suitability. Since the position involves travel for work, you must have a valid driver's license (category B).
