1 position(s). We are seeking an archive assistant for a fixed-term position in the Registration and Archives Unit. The unit is responsible for handling and registering cases and matters coming to the court, archiving, inquiries regarding the release of documents, and more. The unit has 12 employees. Job Duties As an archive assistant, you will be offered varied and developmental work in the Registration and Archives Unit. The work primarily involves receiving and answering external and internal inquiries and providing public documents in closed cases and matters. Inquiries come mainly via telephone and email. Other ongoing tasks include organizing and cataloging archive documents, weeding, and preparing judgments and decisions for binding. The work also includes contributing archive expertise and providing information, delivering case files, and offering advice to the authority's employees. Other tasks carried out in the unit, such as registering and classifying new cases, may also become relevant. You will work both independently and together with colleagues in the unit. The employment runs through May 31, 2027. Qualifications Completed university or college degree of at least 60 college credits in archival science. Current experience working within Sweden's Courts. Current experience with the release of public documents. Practical experience in archive preservation and organizing and cataloging archives with IT support. Experience in service-oriented work in archive operations, as the role involves many external and internal contacts. Good computer skills and experience working in the district court's various IT systems. It is meritorious if you have good insight into the district court's working methods and procedures. The position requires that you are quality-conscious, organized, and thorough while having the ability to work efficiently and increase your work pace without compromising quality. You have a strong sense of service and can plan and prioritize within your area of responsibility. You build good relationships with colleagues and actively contribute your expertise to the unit's and the court's shared work.
