We are currently seeking a personal assistant for an assignment with one of our clients just outside Tomelilla. This is a permanent position at approximately 87% and is perfect for you if you want to work daytime hours and have your evenings and weekends largely free – ideal if you want more time with family or personal interests. The client is a young man who lives in the countryside. Therefore, you need to have a driver's license and access to your own car to get to and from work. We are looking for someone who is thoughtful, responsible, and has a genuine interest in working with people. You are creative, solution-focused, and enjoy planning activities together with the client. Since the client can communicate and express his own wishes, it is important that you are attentive and can be good company in everyday life. If you have an interest in video games or other social activities, that's an added plus. The work also involves some physical transfers, which means you need to be in good physical condition. The Assistant's Role and Experience As a person, you need to be thorough, responsible, attentive, proactive, and positive. You need to be flexible regarding working hours because we in the work group solve staffing if someone becomes ill or takes vacation – we step up for our client and for each other. You need to have your own drive and a genuine desire to make every day valuable. You are a positive and reliable person. We are looking for someone who can work 2 night shifts per week. The shifts are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday nights. Our client is an 11-year-old boy who goes to school during the day and needs someone who can make him feel safe and help him sleep well at night. He wears a breathing mask while sleeping, which means we can never leave him alone with the mask/machine on. Your task will be to ensure that our client can sleep well so he is well-rested when he goes to school. Otherwise, the boy needs supervision around the clock due to his breathing, so you need to learn to interpret our client's body signals. He needs ongoing help with inhalation throughout the day. He also receives tube feeding according to schedule and is given extra nutrition when needed. He needs help with personal care, getting dressed, and putting on and taking off his blanket at night, as he has difficulty lifting his arms and has muscle weakness. We're looking for you, whether male or female, between 22-30 years old, who enjoys being awake at night. If you're interested in sports, that's a big plus, and our client also enjoys gaming. The family has two dogs, so you cannot have any allergies or be afraid of dogs, and of course you must be smoke-free. The position is approximately 48%. You start at 21:00 and end at 06:45.
