We are seeking an employee for personal assistance with a coordinator assignment. You provide support and service based on the assistance recipient's individual needs, wishes, and approved services. As a coordinator, you have, together with the unit manager, an important function in planning, structure, and coordination of daily operations. The position encompasses on average 37 hours per week, with working hours scheduled for day, evening, and weekends. The coordinator assignment typically comprises approximately 40–50 percent of the position. During the introduction period and based on operational needs, the assignment can temporarily encompass a larger portion of working time, primarily weekdays during daytime. Work Tasks You work primarily as a personal assistant and provide support based on the assistance recipient's individual needs. The coordinator assignment is an integrated part of the position and means that you, together with the unit manager, contribute to planning, structure, and coordination of operations. The coordinator assignment includes, among other things: handling acute and planned absences according to established procedures, including registration and follow-up in Heroma web co-plan staffing during absences and coordinate the assignment of substitutes plan and organize introductions for new employees and substitutes together with the unit manager, plan and distribute daily staffing based on assistance recipients' needs and operational conditions plan, book, and when necessary lead operational meetings together with the unit manager to ensure alignment regarding needs, working methods, routines, and staffing place orders and review and handle invoices perform other work tasks that may become relevant based on operational needs. Qualifications To be suitable for the position, you should: have education within care, healthcare, social work, or other education that the employer considers equivalent have documented experience working in personal assistance, disability support, or similar operations have a valid driver's license (category B) and be able to cycle, as bicycles are used as a means of transportation in this role have good administrative skills and experience with scheduling, planning, or staffing have good understanding of numbers and be able to handle time registration and reporting, for example to Försäkringskassan (Swedish Social Insurance Agency) have good computer skills and be able to work in digital operational systems have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written be able to perform work tasks involving heavy lifting, longer walks at a brisk pace, and other physically demanding activities. To succeed in the role, you need to work in a structured and methodical manner and be able to plan, prioritize, and create an overview. You have a holistic perspective, take responsibility, and can work independently as well as together with others. You have a professional and respectful approach toward assistance recipients, family members, and colleagues. You communicate clearly, are flexible, and can adapt when conditions change. You can also handle periods with high work pace and multiple parallel tasks. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. About the Job Health care temporary position at 65% with possibility of permanent employment. Employment: Hourly temporary work (when regular assistants are unable to work) Schedule: The schedule offers long shifts 08:00 - 23:30 (Fri, Sat 08:00-24:00). Before your first shift, you will shadow one of my regular assistants approximately 4-5 times to get up to speed with the job. About Me I am a woman 55+ living with my partner in a small community called Norra Unnaryd. It is located about 40 km outside Jönköping. My disability means I need your arms and legs in various situations, but I direct my own care. I use a wheelchair due to a muscle disease and need help with personal care, cooking, and household tasks, among other things. A day with me can be anything from a calm day at home with various tasks, both indoors and outdoors, to an active outing – perhaps shopping at Gekås in Ullared. I enjoy baking, cooking, dining out, ice hockey, and spending time with family and friends. For us to get along well, I believe you are: A woman with personal maturity. Reliable, thorough, and attentive. Someone who enjoys working with people and can read and adapt to my needs. Important to Know: You must be a non-smoker and tolerate pets.
