DUTIES The assignment involves serving as secretary at meetings of the Education Board or the Elderly and Care Board. This also includes the committees and councils linked to these boards. You will participate in quality-assuring decision documents and provide advice and training to case handlers and managers. You drive board administrative development initiatives and work closely with the political leadership. You have many contact points in the organization, both with staff and elected officials, and work as part of a team with the entire unit. The board secretary also has a role in general election work, within a clearly organized election organization and in collaboration with other functions. Start date is as soon as possible by agreement. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily seeking someone with academic education in political science, social sciences, law, public administration, or equivalent. Alternatively, you have other administrative education or relevant work experience that the employer considers appropriate. We would like you to have experience working in public sector operations and an understanding of how a politically governed organization functions. You are confident in your professional role and experienced in working independently in a public sector organization with political governance. Legal education and/or experience in municipal law is a merit, as is previous experience as a board secretary. You are service-minded, well-organized, and have good communication skills.
