The unit is responsible for this throughout the entire municipality, from the countryside in the west, via the town center at Storån, to the Stockholm archipelago in the east. The Streets and Parks Unit is part of the operational area of Technology and Food Services. As unit manager you sit in the operational area's management group and collaborate there with other unit managers and the operations manager regarding the strategic development of the operational area's responsibilities. Each unit manager is responsible for their unit's area, but we support each other through collegial cooperation and through joint work in the central budget and follow-up procedures. As unit manager you are responsible for a group of approximately 15 people, mainly facilities workers but also work leaders and project managers within infrastructure. Job Description As manager of the Streets and Parks Unit in Söderköping Municipality, you have overall responsibility for operations, work environment, personnel and budget. You have some economic responsibility for the parts concerning the municipality's real estate holdings. The position involves strategic and operational work with planning and management of the municipality's land to create conditions for developing the land according to political goals. The role is a communicative one as you have contact with landowners, tenants, companies, municipality residents, authorities, and representatives of other administrations. The role is part of the municipality's project organization for the new route of E22 and involves responsibility for contacts with the Road Administration's land negotiator and affected tenants regarding matters concerning the municipality's real estate holdings. The work tasks consist mainly of: Negotiating and drawing up agreements on easements, leases, or other usage rights Negotiating and drawing up agreements on the purchase and sale of land Actively participate in the entire detailed planning process including implementation Leading development projects Representing the municipality as a landowner in cadastral surveys Qualifications We are looking for someone who has higher education in real estate law, surveying, law, land, or other education that includes real estate law issues and which the employer deems equivalent. You must have at least three years of experience in real estate management or land and development within public sector activities, as well as knowledge of real estate law. We expect you to have good knowledge of the community development process, for example within planning and building areas, as well as experience working with business or case management systems. The facility has 49 places distributed across seven units. Each unit has a cozy common room and dining room where residents can eat their meals and socialize in a safe and comfortable environment. For shared activities and celebrations, there is also a larger gathering space where we meet for various events and celebrations. At Hedbacka, we work to create a meaningful, secure, and joyful daily life for our residents. Therefore, we offer activities several times a week, such as music sessions, baking, walks, and shared outings. The activities are designed based on the residents' interests, wishes, and abilities to promote participation and well-being. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a genuine interest in working with people, where the residents' needs and wishes are always in focus. It is a merit if you have previous experience working in elderly care, with people with dementia, or with people with disabilities. You have good computer skills and speak and write Swedish well, as the work involves documentation and communication with colleagues, residents, and family members. As a person, you are engaged, responsible, and see opportunities in your work. You are attentive, flexible, and have the ability to adapt your working methods based on each individual's needs and circumstances.
