Here we work based on the National Board of Health and Welfare's value foundation for elderly care. We place the resident at the center and actively work to create meaning in daily life for those who live here. As a nursing assistant in elderly care, you play an important role in creating security, dignity, and quality of life for elderly people. You support them in their daily lives and always work with the individual in focus. Work tasks can vary from personal care, such as help with hygiene, dressing, and meals, to social support through conversation, presence, and community. The work takes place in the individual's home at the residential facility where you are part of a team. The role may also include health and medical care tasks after delegation, such as medication management or other care interventions. Documentation is a natural part of the work and is done in our medical record system to ensure good and safe care as well as continuity in services. Qualifications A professional certificate for nursing assistant issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare is a requirement to work as a nursing assistant. It is of great importance to us that you have a good ability to speak, read, and write in Swedish because medical record keeping and handover to colleagues is important. It is desirable that you have good experience with digital tools. We also consider it meritorious if you have worked in care and support previously—these are experiences we value highly! Who Are You?
