Car Tester / Car Runner

We are now looking for a Car Tester / Car Runner to join our team. This is a hybrid role for someone who loves cars, enjoys practical work, and appreciates a workday where tasks can vary. The role consists of two main parts: testing and inspecting cars that come in to us, and working as a Car Runner to help keep our daily car flow moving. The distribution between the two parts is not fixed but is entirely driven by operational needs. During certain periods, you may work almost exclusively with car testing, while during other periods you primarily work as a Car Runner. For example, you might work up to 100% as a Car Tester during one period and up to 100% as a Car Runner during another. There is therefore no fixed percentage distribution between Car Tester and Car Runner. The distribution varies continuously based on operational needs. You therefore need to be comfortable with both parts of the role and be flexible about where you are needed most at any given time. As a Car Tester As a Car Tester, you are an important part of our incoming car flow. You test, test drive, and inspect cars that come in to us to ensure we get a clear picture of the car's condition and what actions may need to be taken. You work methodically and carefully and need to be able to detect both obvious and less obvious faults and deficiencies. Work tasks include, among other things: Test and test drive incoming cars Identify faults, damage, and other deficiencies Document the results of completed tests Check the car's functions and general condition Photograph and document relevant discrepancies Report any faults and maintenance needs that have been detected Inspect, for example, engine, transmission, brakes, electronics, and other functions As a Car Runner As a Car Runner, your task is to help keep our car flow moving. It is a practical and mobile role where you ensure that cars get to the right place at the right time and help the logistics team with tasks that need to be completed during the day. A workday might, for example, involve picking up a car from a customer, driving another to a workshop or inspection, and then helping to move and organize cars on our storage areas. Work tasks include, among other things: Pick up and deliver cars to customers Move and park cars at the facility Help maintain order of cars and keys Move cars between different locations and storage areas Perform simple checklists, photography, and receipts Assist the logistics team with practical matters when needed Drive cars to and from workshops, inspections, and partners Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with a great passion for cars and who enjoys practical work. You need to be thorough when the situation requires it, but at the same time be able to work efficiently when the pace is high. Since the role is a hybrid position, flexibility is especially important. You need to be comfortable with the workday changing and operational needs determining whether you are currently working primarily as a Car Tester or Car Runner. It is therefore important that you are interested in both parts of the role. The position is not a pure Car Tester role and the distribution between work areas can change over time. We are looking for someone who: Enjoys practical work Has a strong interest in cars Is responsible and self-motivated Holds a B driver's license for manual transmission Can handle a high pace Is thorough and has an eye for detail Has a good understanding of how cars work Works well with others and helps where needed Is flexible and can switch between different types of work tasks Previous experience from car trading, workshop, car testing, vehicle logistics, reconditioning, or similar work is a merit, but the right attitude and genuine car interest carry significant weight. What we offer With us, you will work in a fast-growing operation where a lot is happening and where you play an important role in the daily car flow. You will have a varied workday with considerable responsibility and the opportunity to develop your knowledge in both cars and vehicle logistics. For the right person, there are good opportunities to develop and take on more responsibility over time. Practical information Employment form: Hourly employment Scope: At least 100 hours per month, with the possibility for more hours Location: Upplands Väsby Working hours: Primarily weekdays, with the possibility of work in evenings and weekends if needed Start date: By agreement Application and information: NOTE! Applications for this position are only accepted via the Swedish Public Employment Service website. Applications sent via email will not be processed. If you have questions about the position, you are warmly welcome to contact us via email at [email protected] Please note that access to your own car is a requirement, as the workplace lacks good public transportation. Open to everyone We focus on your skills, not other circumstances. We are open to adapting the role or workplace according to your needs.

Personal Assistant for Part-Time Daytime Position

I am a 35-year-old man living in Tvärred with my partner, our children, and two cats. I am generally a cheerful and active person who wants to do most things I enjoy as long as I have the energy and stamina for it. My children are my highest priority, and I want to be as involved as possible. This means, among other things, that with the help of an assistant, I pick up from preschool in the afternoons as often as I am able to. It is therefore important that you enjoy children and feel comfortable working with them, or are open to learning to be comfortable with them. Other things I enjoy doing include spending time outdoors, exercising, cooking, baking, watching football, listening to music, and more. I also appreciate having some personal time occasionally. I need help with most things in my daily life. Everything from pursuing my interests to getting dressed and undressed, using the bathroom, or showering. I have no problems communicating verbally or in writing. I can stand to some extent with the help of mobility aids, and I have all the equipment I need, including a wheelchair, Permobil, transfer board, shower chair, walking frame, and lift. I have my own car that I can drive myself, and I also have access to a paratransit service. I have FSHD (facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy) in its more severe form. FSHD affects virtually all the muscles in the body to varying degrees, weakens over time, and causes chronic pain. I also become mentally fatigued easily due to living with the physical conditions and limitations the disease presents. I am looking for assistants willing to work daytime hours from 07:00 to 17:30, primarily Monday through Friday, though requests for weekend work may arise. I hope you are a person who listens well and can take instructions. It would be a plus if you are relatively close to my age, but it is not a requirement—personality is what matters most.
