Capio Geriatrics Dalen provides modern geriatric care in well-equipped facilities with good accessibility. The operation includes 164 care beds distributed across seven departments. We work with modern digital solutions that simplify daily operations, including the TakeCare electronic health record system, Frisq, and advanced medical equipment with automatic data transfer. Department 42 is a general geriatric ward with 24 care beds, of which eight are single rooms. Here we work with geriatric assessment, treatment, and care for patients with conditions such as infections, cardiovascular disease, kidney failure, COPD, and diabetes. Your Role As a nursing assistant or nursing student with us, you're a key person in daily care work and work closely with patients in an engaged team. You help create security, participation, and good quality care for our patients. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team and work closely with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, speech-language pathologists, social workers, and coordinator nurses. Your duties include patient care, meal service, documentation in TakeCare, participation in rounds, and delegated medical tasks such as blood draws, catheter care, wound care, NEWS2 monitoring, and blood glucose measurement.
