He lives in an accessible apartment on the ground floor. The home is equipped with aids such as a floor lift, wheelchair, shower chair, and a special chair for oral care. About the Client The client requires 24-hour personal assistance and has extensive care needs. He is bedridden and needs help with all daily activities. He receives nutrition and fluids via a PEG tube three times a day, as well as several different medications. The client also uses a breathing mask and a suction machine to help remove mucus. Communication is not verbal but occurs through facial expressions, eye contact, and body language. It is therefore important that you are attentive, calm, and observant in your work.
