Start date as soon as possible for one of the positions. The main person is a 32-year-old woman who receives around-the-clock assistance to support her with epilepsy, memory, and cognition. She lives in her own apartment and commutes to her daily activities Monday through Thursday. Fridays are dedicated to personal activities, and weekends to maintaining the home, where the aroma of freshly baked bread has become a signature. You actively work to improve the main person's quality of life, stimulate social contacts, and of course provide protection during seizures. You also help maintain conversation and bring back memories through documentation in words and images. You work scheduled 24-hour shifts (maximum 8 nights per 4 weeks due to on-call duty), and occasional day shifts when dual assistance is needed for activities such as climbing and swimming.
