Personal Assistant Needed for a 9-Year-Old Boy – 30–50 %

As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of his daily life. You will support him in everything from personal care and mobility to play, activities, and communication. Since he is non-verbal, it is important that you are attentive, responsive, and have a genuine interest in understanding and interpreting his way of communicating.
About the Position
Employment level: 30–50 %
Working hours according to schedule
Introduction and training provided on-site

We Are Looking for Someone Who
Is confident, calm, and responsible
Is attentive and has great patience
Has a warm and respectful manner
Speaks and understands Swedish fluently
Preferably has experience working with individuals with multiple disabilities
We especially encourage female applicants based on the family's preference.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience or knowledge in:
Orthotics
Standing frames
Feeding pumps
Personal assistance or similar care work
No formal education is required. If you do not have prior experience with the equipment, you will receive the introduction and training needed to feel confident in your role.
Important Information
The family has large dogs in the home. Therefore, you need to be comfortable with dogs and not have dog allergies or fear of dogs.
